The position is based in Andheri, Mumbai and requires 2-3 years of experience in complex PCB design and layout for industrial applications. As a PCB Design Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and executing multi-layer PCB layouts from concept to production. This includes creating and optimizing high-density, high-speed PCB designs, generating Gerber files for manufacturing, and performing impedance calculations and signal integrity analysis. You will need to implement PCB design rules and design for manufacturing (DFM) guidelines, conduct thermal analysis, and optimize component placement. Additionally, you will lead design reviews, mentor junior PCB designers, and coordinate with fabrication and assembly houses for PCB manufacturing. The role requires expert proficiency in Altium Designer, specifically in high-density, multi-layer PCB design, high-speed design techniques, stackup planning, and impedance control. You should have a strong understanding of PCB manufacturing processes and constraints, as well as expertise in PCB design for EMC/EMI compliance. Qualified candidates should hold a B.Tech/B.E. in Electronics or Electronics and Communication Engineering, possess 2-3 years of hands-on PCB design experience, and have a portfolio showcasing successful PCB designs. Attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and proficiency in Altium Designer are essential for this role.
