You are seeking a skilled L2 Networked Backup administrator with hands-on experience managing Dell EMC Networker backup environments and Data Domain systems. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of enterprise backup processes, troubleshooting, and incident management, along with a fundamental working knowledge of Microsoft Azure cloud services. **Key Responsibilities:** - Monitor, manage, and support backup operations using DELL EMC Networker - Administer and maintain Data Domain backup Storage appliances, including replication and capacity planning - Perform regular backup and restore tasks, ensuring data integrity and availability - Troubleshoot backup failures, escalate critical issues, and coordinate with L3 and Vendor support as needed - Perform daily health checks, maintain backup schedules, and ensure successful job completion - Manage backup retention policies and ensure successful job completion - Document processes, incident resolutions, and contribute to knowledge base updates - Support fundamental backup and storage integration with Azure workloads (VMs, Files, Blob, etc.) - Assist in onboarding new backup clients and decommissioning legacy backup configurations - Participate in on-call rotation and provide off-hours support as required **Qualifications Required:** - EMC certifications (e.g., "Dell EMC proven Professional for Networker or Data Domain") - Azure Fundamentals (AZ-900) Azure Associate certification (AZ104) is preferred - Exposure to other backup technologies (Veeam is much desired) In addition to the above responsibilities and qualifications, you should possess good communication and collaboration skills, be detail-oriented with a proactive mindset, and have the ability to document technical solutions clearly and effectively.
