Embedded Systems Test Engineer

You have an exciting opportunity to join our team as an Embedded Systems Test Engineer with 2-4 years of experience. We are looking for a skilled professional who possesses hands-on experience in Python scripting, embedded systems, test life cycle processes, and communication protocols. As an Embedded Systems Test Engineer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the highest quality of embedded products through test planning, execution, automation, and defect tracking. Your key responsibilities will include analyzing requirements to prepare comprehensive test scenarios and test cases, creating test plans and test cases from feature descriptions, reporting and tracking bugs/issues, investigating and resolving testing-related issues, and coordinating with team members and stakeholders to ensure alignment and communication. Additionally, you will be executing manual and automated test procedures, analyzing test results, and working with test automation tools/equipment for embedded systems testing. To excel in this role, you should have 2-4 years of hands-on experience in embedded systems testing, a strong knowledge of Python scripting for automation/testing, a good understanding of Software Test Life Cycle (STLC) and testing methodologies, proficiency in bug life cycle and experience using test management tools, familiarity with communication protocols such as CAN, MODBUS, RS232/RS485, exposure to test automation tools and equipment used in embedded system validation, strong analytical and problem-solving skills, and good communication and collaboration skills. A bachelor's degree in Electronics, Computer Science, or a related discipline and ISTQB or similar testing certification would be preferred.
