Embedded Firmware Engineer (MCU)

As an Embedded Software Engineer, your role will involve implementing software for embedded devices and systems, from requirements to production and commercial deployment. You will be responsible for developing, coding, testing, and debugging system software. Additionally, you will need to integrate and validate new product designs, support software QA, and optimize I/O performance. You will also assess third-party and open-source software to ensure compatibility with existing systems. **Key Responsibilities:** - Implement software for embedded devices and systems - Develop, code, test, and debug system software - Integrate and validate new product designs - Support software QA - Optimize I/O performance - Assess third-party and open-source software for compatibility **Qualifications Required:** - Excellent C programming knowledge, particularly on 8/16/32 bit microcontrollers - Hands-on experience in protocols/interfaces such as I2C, SPI, RS485, and CAN - Understanding of hardware and experience in module development for ADC, PWM, Timers, etc. - Strong debugging skills and software troubleshooting abilities - Experience with GSM/GPS/GPRS technologies preferred - Development experience in a Linux environment - Proficiency in C and C++, along with knowledge of at least one high-level scripting language (preferably Python) - Familiarity with the Linux/Unix environment, digital electronics fundamentals, data structures, and algorithms In this role, your key skills will include Embedded C, Embedded Linux, Python, technical problem-solving, and strong communication skills.
