Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Instrumentation\Automation\Software Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have 6-10 years of hands-on experience and a strong background in Distributed Control Systems (DCS), Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC), and Instrumentation,

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain test systems for DCS systems validation : performing validation and qualification of Honeywell process control systems such as Experion PKS, PlantCruise, Control Edge PLC
• Will have independent responsibility in designing test systems and executing functional / system tests on different EPKS sub-systems where the candidate’s prior experience in working on similar systems will be expected to be leveraged Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of instrumentation systems with other process control systems.
• Plan Test Efforts and Track execution as per plan. Work on Risk identification and mitigation. Provide updates to stakeholders.
• Will be responsible for Test strategy, design & execution of different types of test covering functional and non functional requirement.

Analyze and interpret data to identify opportunities for process improvement and optimization

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Instrumentation Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
• 6-10 years of experience in the process industry with a focus on instrumentation and control systems.
• Strong knowledge of DCS, PLC, and instrumentation technologies.
• Candidate with knowledge in EPKS Engineering tools & simulation will have added advantage.
• Candidate should have good understanding of deployment scenarios of DCS Systems and end user use cases.
• Understanding of subsystem communication protocols – Ethernet IP, Profinet, Profibus, IEC61850, HART, FF, OPC.
• Basic understanding and usage of a Programming language and python scripting.
• Understanding of SDLC process is a advantage.
