We are seeking an experienced ENM & Ancillary Medical Coder with 2 years of hands-on experience in US healthcare coding. The ideal candidate will be responsible for reviewing clinical documentation, assigning accurate ICD-10-CM, CPT, and HCPCS codes, and ensuring compliance with payer guidelines and CMS regulations.
Roles and Responsibilities:
Review and analyze medical records to assign accurate E/M and Ancillary service codes (Radiology, Pathology, Lab, Physical Therapy, etc.)
Ensure coding accuracy in line with CPT, ICD-10-CM, HCPCS, and official coding guidelines.
Validate medical necessity and check documentation for complete and compliant coding.
Work with encounter forms, superbills, and physician documentation for coding clarity.
Follow NCCI edits, payer-specific rules, and Medicare guidelines for ENM and Ancillary services.
Ensure 100% compliance with CMS and HIPAA regulations.
Identify and report documentation deficiencies to the quality/audit team.
Collaborate with QA and audit teams to improve coding accuracy and productivity.
Maintain daily and weekly productivity and quality targets.
Stay updated with latest coding updates, payer guidelines, and modifier usage.
ENM Coding (Outpatient / Professional)
Ancillary Coding (Radiology, Pathology, Labs, Physical Therapy, etc.)
CPT, ICD-10-CM, HCPCS
NCCI Edits, CMS Guidelines
Good knowledge of Medical Terminology and Anatomy
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Excellent communication and analytical skills
2 Years experience for ancillary coder and 4 years of experience eligible for ancillary Quality.
