Knowledge of export incentives, licenses, and regulations. Strong coordination, negotiation, and problem-solving skills. Arrange and manage the entire shipment process, including coordinating with freight forwarders, customs brokers, and shipping lines. Prepare and process all necessary import and export documents, ensuring adherence to international trade laws, customs regulations, and country-specific requirements. Track shipments from origin to destination to ensure timely delivery and proactively address any potential delays or problems. Maintain accurate records of all import and export transactions and prepare regular reports on activities and performance. Resolve any discrepancies or issues that may arise during the import/export process, particularly those related to customs, shipping, or regulations. Strong understanding of international trade regulations and customs procedures. Preparing and submitting customs declarations and shipping documents. Staying informed about changes in trade regulations and customs procedures Managing disputes with logistics partners or customers. Preparing and presenting reports on export activities, shipping costs, and performance metrics to management. Maintain import/export registers and update ERP/logistics systems. Reconcile shipping documents with finance/accounts for accuracy. Ensure compliance with customs laws, DGFT regulations, and other trade requirements. Evaluate freight forwarders’ performance and negotiate better rates/contracts. Monitor import/export expenses and suggest cost-saving measures. Keep updated with changes in import/export policies, tariffs, and trade agreements Support audits and provide necessary documentation for compliance checks. Strong coordination, negotiation, and problem-solving skills. Knowledge of export incentives, licenses, and regulations.
