This includes using a precision cleaver to cut the fiber ends and a fusion splicer to melt them together using an electric arc, creating a permanent, low-loss connection. Testing and Troubleshooting: They use specialized equipment, including Optical Time Domain Reflectometers (OTDRs), power meters, light sources, and visual fault locators, to test signal strength, locate faults, and diagnose network issues. Maintenance and Repair: Duties include conducting regular, planned maintenance routines and responding to emergency service calls to repair or replace damaged or faulty cables promptly, minimizing network downtime. Working hour and place of posting: To work at factory or any construction site as per requirement of company. Candidate should have mind set to work 24x7 basis when there is any fault occurred in optical fibre network even at night time also. Candidate is to work in their jurisdiction as decided by management. But, as per requirement of company he should have to work pan India basis.
