Key Responsibilities 1. Regulatory Compliance & Monitoring • Track, analyze, and interpret new and existing regulations, circulars, and notifications issued by relevant authorities. • Ensure timely implementation of applicable regulatory and policy changes across the organization. • Maintain updated compliance checklists, regulatory registers, and reporting calendars to ensure alignment with evolving requirements. 2. Policy Formulation & Advisory • Provide interpretation and advisory support on policies, laws, and regulatory matters to business and operational teams. • Conduct impact assessments of proposed or upcoming regulatory changes and advise management on implications and required actions. • Draft and update internal policies, procedures, and operational guidelines aligned with external regulatory expectations. 3. Regulatory Engagement • Prepare responses to consultation papers, policy positions, and regulatory reports on behalf of the organization. • Represent the organization in industry forums, policy committees, and working groups. • Must have experience working closely with secretariats and government bodies to facilitate policy discussions, representations, and submissions. 4. Market Research and Policy-Driven GTM Alignment • Conduct in-depth market research to understand how regulatory changes influence market opportunities and barriers. • Map policy environments with potential business models, identifying emerging sectors and compliant growth areas. • Develop Go-to-Market (GTM) frameworks that align regulatory compliance with commercial strategies. • Collaborate with product, strategy, and business development teams to ensure new offerings are both market-relevant and policy-aligned. • Benchmark global best practices to anticipate regulatory trends and their market implications. 5. Training & Awareness • Conduct internal training and awareness programs on new regulatory and policy developments. • Promote a culture of compliance, ethical practices, and accountability within the organization. Qualification Criteria Education • Bachelor’s degree in Law, BSC, Economics, Commerce. • Optional : Master’s degree or specialization in Regulatory Affairs, Science, Finance, or Environmental Policy preferred. • Advanced professional certification in environmental management or sustainability compliance will be an added advantage. Professional Certifications (Preferred) • Legal, governance, or policy-related qualifications are desirable. Drive research, evaluation, and evidence-based policy interventions across insurance, IoT, water management and industrial sectors. This role demands working at the interface of India’s flagship government schemes and international regulatory frameworks, especially Sustainable Development Goals (SDG) 6 (Clean Water & Sanitation), 11 (Sustainable Cities & Communities), and 13 (Climate Action). Key Responsibilities: -Lead monitoring and evaluation of Electro Plaza projects by mapping with SDG 6, 11, and 13, ensuring alignment with both global standards and Indian regulatory requirements (MoHUA, DDWS, MoJS, CPCB, etc.) -Conduct impact assessments for projects related to water management (Jal Jeevan Mission, Namami Gange, Atal Mission for Rejuvenation and Urban Transformation), smart cities, and environmental compliance (Clean Air India, National Clean Energy Fund) -Develop evidence-based evaluation frameworks tailored to Indian implementation realities, using quantitative and qualitative tools -Draft policy briefs and sectoral recommendations in sync with Union government priorities and city/state administration, focusing on schemes run by the Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs (MoHUA), Department of Drinking Water and Sanitation (DDWS), Ministry of Jal Shakti (MoJS), Central Pollution Control Board (CPCB), and more -Organize capacity-building workshops for Electro Plaza teams and external partners, ensuring familiarity with Indian regulatory processes as well as international best practices from UNICEF, ADB, FCDO, etc. -Prepare reports and presentations for central/state governments, donor agencies, and multilateral partners, highlighting project outcomes in the Indian context -Establish collaborations with government research agencies, policy think tanks, and universities in India to contextualize global policy approaches for local relevance Desired Profile: -3–5 years of experience in policy evaluation, monitoring & evaluation (M&E), or policy research for government, NGOs, or international development agencies -Degree in Economics, Public Policy, Social Sciences, Civil/Environmental Engineering, or allied fields (Master’s preferred; exposure to Indian and global institutions is an advantage) -Strong grasp of India’s flagship Union Government schemes (MoHUA, DDWS, MoJS, CPCB, etc.) and their linkages with global frameworks (SDGs, Paris Agreement) -Proven track record in evaluating development programmes in water, sanitation, urban infrastructure, climate, or insurance sectors -Ability to design and apply policy frameworks that blend global methodologies with Indian regulations and implementation challenges -Excellent analytical skills, experience with statistical tools and data storytelling -Confidence in conducting workshops, presenting outcomes to senior policymakers, and translating technical jargon for wider audiences -Experience of working with government departments, donor agencies, and multilateral institutions highly valued Benefits: -Contribute to India's transition toward smart, sustainable industries and cities -Work on projects that matter for national priorities like Jal Jeevan Mission, AMRUT, Smart Cities Mission, and climate action -Lead sectoral change by anchoring projects at the crossroads of technology and policy -Engage regularly with ministries, regulatory boards, and global partners for professional growth and sectoral impact
