Electrician / ITI Electrician

• Install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, systems, and fixtures in buildings and structures.
• Inspect electrical systems, equipment, and components to identify hazards, defects, or the need for adjustment or repair.
• Ensure compliance with national and local electrical codes and safety regulations.
• Read blueprints, technical diagrams, and schematics to determine the layout of electrical systems.
• Test electrical systems and continuity of circuits using testing devices such as ohmmeters, voltmeters, and oscilloscopes.
• Connect wires to circuit breakers, transformers, or other components.
• Diagnose malfunctioning systems and components using appropriate testing equipment.
• Plan layout and installation of electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures based on job specifications and local codes.
• Maintain tools and equipment and keep job sites clean and organized.
• Collaborate with contractors, engineers, and other construction professionals.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Completion of an electrician apprenticeship program or equivalent experience.
• Valid electrician license/certification (as required by state/local regulations).
• Proven experience as an electrician in residential, commercial, or industrial settings.
• Strong knowledge of electrical systems, tools, and safety procedures.
