Description
1. Changeover Handling - Operate and monitor DGEB (Diesel GeneratorElectric Board) changeover panels. - Ensure safe and timely switching during power failures or maintenance. 2. Electrical Readings - Take routine load readings (voltage, current, kWh, PF, frequency). - Maintain logbooks and report anomalies. 3. EOT Crane Operations - Conduct basic maintenance and electrical troubleshooting of EOT cranes. - Support in hoist motor wiring, limit switches, and panel wiring. 4. Compressor Maintenance - Monitor electrical panels of air compressors. - Handle wiring, motor starter panels, and ensure proper phase and overload protections. 5. Welding Machines - Perform basic troubleshooting of arc/MIG welding machines. - Assist in wiring connections, plug-top replacements, and fuse protection. 6. Wiring & Connections - Execute routine wiring, cabling, and installation of industrial sockets, MCBs, DBs, and switchgears. - Understand single-phase and three-phase systems. 7. Preventive Maintenance - Carry out daily/weekly/monthly PM schedules on electrical equipment. - Lubricate motors, inspect cables, tighten terminals, and clean panels. 8. Safety Compliance - Follow electrical safety standards (e.g., PPE, lockout-tagout procedures). - Adhere to plant safety norms and documentation. 9. Breakdown Support - Attend emergency breakdowns for any plant machinery requiring electrical support. - Coordinate with mechanical/electronics teams for root cause analysis. Skills & Competencies Basic knowledge of electrical circuits , relays , MCBs/ELCBs , contactors , and starters Ability to read electrical wiring diagrams and panel layouts Familiar with insulation resistance testing , continuity checks , and multimeter use Basic understanding of motor control circuits and VFD panels Knowledge of load calculation and energy-saving practices Awareness of first aid for electrical shock and fire extinguishing techniques Regards Dinagaran rajideena2305@gmail.com
