Job Description

Role & responsibilities

Effective technical and practical engineering skills, and able to consistently deliver quality, accurate and timely work to clients.
Experience in MV/HV electrical system
Knowledge in making data sheets and specification for Transformer, GIS, cables et and Specifications, MR etc
A good working knowledge of the fundamental requirements of the electrical discipline, and the basic requirements of other disciplines.
Prepare lighting calculations in DIALUX with conventional / LED fixtures, lighting and small power layouts
Preparation of MTO, DB Schedules
MV cable sizing based on IEC60287 using CYMECAP will be an added advantage
A thorough knowledge of the regulations, codes and standards and a good understanding of onshore & offshore engineering practices applicable to electrical design for oil and gas facilities.
Experience in brown fields & asset services type project / contracts.
Performing Load Flow and Short Circuit Studies using ETAP and report preparation is an added advantage.

Preferred candidate profile

Minimum 8 years of experience in Electrical design and engineering of oil & gas / large industrial projects
Minimum 8 years design experience in preparation of electrical Single Line Diagrams, Load Schedule, LV Switchgears SLDs, Schemes, Metering & Protection Diagrams, Transformer, Diesel Generator, UPS & battery sizing calculations, Cable Schedule, Lighting, Earthing & Lightning Protection Calculations and Layout Drawings, Specifications and data sheets for the above equipment.
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering
