Electrical Draftsman

You will be working as an Electrical Draftsman at COENGR's India office to support UAE-based projects. Your responsibilities will include preparing detailed electrical design drawings, layouts, and schematics using AutoCAD or other drafting software. You will interpret engineers" designs and specifications to create accurate technical drawings for lighting, power distribution, ELV systems, and other electrical installations. Collaborating with electrical engineers and revising drawings based on feedback will be essential. Maintaining organized records, ensuring compliance with international standards and UAE requirements, and assisting in preparing as-built drawings are also part of your role. To qualify for this position, you should have a diploma or degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field along with a minimum of 3 years of experience in electrical drafting, preferably with GCC/UAE project exposure. Proficiency in AutoCAD is required, and knowledge of Revit MEP is advantageous. Strong understanding of electrical systems, detailing, and construction practices, as well as excellent attention to detail, accuracy, and organizational skills are essential. Effective communication and the ability to work collaboratively in a remote coordination setup are also important. Preferred qualifications include prior experience with an engineering consultancy and familiarity with UAE standards, codes, and authority requirements. This is a full-time position.
