Electrical Design Engineer

Duties and Responsibilities : Technical

• Work with Detailed Engineering contractors to expand the Electrical scope to detailed design

documents

• Design Calculation / Sizing of Electrical Power Equipments.
• Preparation of Single Line Diagram (SLD)
• Preparation of Specific LT/HT/Switch gear, MCC, PDB, LDB Panels.
• Preparation/ review of equipment layout, Cable trays, Lighting & Earthing Layouts.
• Plant engineering Activities.
• Detailed understanding of the activities related to electrical systems design development including Electrical equipment sizing, Cable Scheduling and Routing Design (above and below ground), Lighting Design (including lighting design software application), Earthing Systems, Hazardous Area Classification, high,medium and low voltage systems and Electrical Bulk Material Take-off.
• Load flow, short circuit calculation, relay co ordination on Etap software/ Auto Cad / Dialux
• Candidate should be competent enough to provide cost effective, value addition suggestion during different phases of the project. Basci Design Package, Pre- bid Engineering, Detail Engineerin stages duirng execution of the EPC projects. Candidate to have Strong technical Practical field working Knowledge & Skills, good engineering judgement and awareness of global EPC/EPCM practices followed in Electrical Engineering
• Testing and Pre commissioning of HV Swithgear, LV switchgear, Transformer, PSA and Lighting System.

Overall Management and Client Related

• Promote new initiatives to clients and third parties as required.
• Contribute to periodic risk reviews and develop strategies that mitigate exposure to both internal and external risks.
• Provide positive engagement across all levels of the company to achieve business KPIs.

General Compliance and Improvements

Comply with all the Health and Safety regulatory site rules and requirements at all times

• Responsible for own Health and safety and that of others who may be affected by work.
• Request information necessary to perform the task efficiently as possible and stop work if not in compliance with the standard practices and procedures.
• Support the business with procedures and required compliance

Preferred Educational Qualification

Qualification & Experience: Minimum Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering with minimum 7 10 years

experience in design of Electrical Systems for Waste to Biogas/Chemicals, Ethanol or the Oil

& Gas/Refinery/Petrochemical Plants
