Electrical BIM Modeller

As an Electrical Services Modeler at our company, you will play a crucial role in the design and modeling of building services elements for Electrical services. Your responsibilities will include: - Building and creating drawings for services such as lighting power, earthing, and lightning protection systems using software like Microstation, AutoCAD, and Revit - Developing 3D models of physical substations and preparing 2D/3D drawings - Conducting basic electrical design calculations - Following QA/QC procedures to ensure quality and technical correctness - Coordinating effectively with Mechanical, Structural, and Architectural services - Working within specified time limits to deliver projects on time To be successful in this role, you must meet the following qualifications: - ITI or Diploma in Electrical & Electronics Engineering - Proficiency in using Microstation, AutoCAD, and Revit for electrical modeling in building services - Experience in substation projects or Oil & Gas projects - Familiarity with preparation of layout drawings and schematic diagrams for electrical services - Exposure to British & GCC standards - Strong written and verbal communication skills - Ability to work independently without the need for mark-ups - Preference for experience in Western Power Substation projects - Exposure to platforms like BIM360 or Projectwise would be advantageous Additionally, at our company, we prioritize equality, diversity, and inclusion in our workplace.
