Electrical BIM Engineer

In this role at Mott MacDonald, you will be responsible for model building and drawings of building services elements specifically focusing on electrical services such as lighting power, earthing, and lightning protection systems. Your tasks will include preparing schematics, schedules, and ensuring basic knowledge of electrical systems. Attention to quality and technical correctness along with adherence to QA/QC procedures will be crucial. Smooth coordination with mechanical, structural, and architectural services is essential, and you will be expected to work within specified time limits to complete deliverables on schedule. Qualifications Required: - Degree or diploma in electrical & electronics engineering - Minimum 3 years of experience in electrical Revit modeling for building services - Familiarity with the preparation of layout drawings and schematic diagrams for electrical services - Proficiency in manipulating Revit families, creation of views, browser structure, sheets, schedules, filters, and similar Revit functions - Experience in Navisworks for clash coordination - Basic knowledge in Dynamo - Strong written and verbal communication skills - Ability to work independently without the need for mark-ups - Exposure to platforms like BIM360 or Projectwise is preferred Additionally, at Mott MacDonald, you will have the opportunity for flexible working arrangements to support your work-life balance.
