Perform preventive and corrective maintenance of electrical systems in the powder coating line (ovens, spray booths, conveyors, compressors, curing units, etc.).
Troubleshoot and repair electrical faults in motors, panels, PLCs, sensors, drives (VFD/AC/DC), and control systems.
Monitor and maintain electrical safety standards in accordance with company policies and statutory regulations.
Carry out routine inspections, testing, and calibration of electrical equipment.
Maintain records of maintenance activities, breakdowns, and spare parts usage.
Coordinate with production teams to minimize downtime and ensure uninterrupted operations.
Support installation, commissioning, and modification of electrical systems/equipment.
Ensure availability of critical electrical spares for the powder coating line.
Train operators on safe handling and basic troubleshooting of electrical equipment.
Report recurring issues and suggest long-term solutions for process improvement.
Qualifications & Skills:
Diploma/Degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
4 to 8 years of experience in electrical maintenance, preferably in a powder coating / surface treatment / manufacturing plant.
Strong knowledge of electrical circuits, control systems, and industrial automation (PLC, VFD, sensors).
Hands-on experience with high/low voltage systems and preventive maintenance practices.
Ability to read electrical schematics and troubleshoot effectively.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Knowledge of safety standards (ISO, OSHA, or equivalent).
