Electric Motor Winding Technician

Job Profile (Steel Factory): Electric Motor Winding TechnicianResponsibilities:

• Winding and rewinding of heavy-duty industrial motors used in steel plant operations
• Repair and maintenance of EOT crane motors, rolling mill motors, cooling bed motors, pump motors, blower motors
• Removal of burnt winding and preparation of new copper winding
• Stator, rotor, and armature winding as per industrial specifications
• Perform insulation checks, megger testing, continuity testing and varnishing
• Motor dismantling, cleaning, assembly and alignment
• Identify faults during production breakdown and ensure quick restoration
• Support maintenance team in breakdown, preventive and shutdown maintenance
• Ensure compliance with steel plant safety standards

Qualifications:

• ITI (Electrician / Motor Winding) preferred
• Experience with industrial motors used in steel factories
• Knowledge of wire gauges, slot insulation, varnish, bearings, and motor components

Skills:

• Strong expertise in heavy motor winding
• Ability to handle breakdown pressure
• Knowledge of industrial testing tools (Megger, Multimeter, Tong Tester)
• Accurate and neat coil winding skills

Experience:

• 5–7 years in industrial/steel plant motor winding

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹18,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
