The Territory Business Manager is a key role responsible for promoting and selling the company's pharmaceutical products to healthcare professionals, including doctors, pharmacists, and hospitals, within a designated territory. This role requires a strong understanding of the medical landscape, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and a results-oriented approach to achieve sales targets and build lasting relationships with clients. Responsibilities Effectively communicate the features, benefits, and clinical evidence of the company's products to healthcare professionals. Achieve and exceed assigned sales targets for specific products and territories. Regularly visit healthcare professionals, pharmacies, and hospitals to promote products and gather market intelligence. Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key opinion leaders (KOLs), doctors, pharmacists, and other healthcare providers. Ensure all sales and promotional activities adhere to ethical guidelines, company policies, and industry regulations (e.g., MCI guidelines, D&C Act). Effectively plan daily and weekly call schedules to optimize coverage and reach target customers. Manage and allocate promotional materials and samples effectively. Stay updated on product knowledge, clinical data, and therapeutic areas through continuous learning and training programs. Qualifications Education: Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy, Science (e.g., Life Sciences, Biotechnology, Microbiology), or a related field. A B.Sc. or B.Pharm is often preferred. Experience: Minimum 1 year of proven experience as a Medical Representative in the pharmaceutical industry Driving License: Valid two-wheeler or four-wheeler driving license and willingness to travel extensively within the assigned territory.
