Our main goal is to empower underprivileged communities, with a specific focus on offering educational opportunities to visually impaired children who have been marginalized by the conventional schooling system. Central to our mission is the "Arunodaya (Sunrise) for Blind Children Program," an innovative initiative that provides personalized mentorship to visually impaired children through home visits conducted six days a week. Our experienced mentors, proficient in Braille, deliver specialized training in orientation, mobility, and sensory development under the supervision of seasoned special educators. We are currently seeking volunteers to assist Ek Kadam Aur Foundation in conducting a baseline survey and collecting data on blind children in the Pune district. Role Description This is a full-time hybrid role located in Bengaluru, with some work from home acceptable, for a Director/Senior Director/Executive Director of Fundraising. The role involves developing and implementing comprehensive fundraising strategies, cultivating and maintaining donor relationships, preparing grant proposals, organizing fundraising events, and managing fundraising campaigns. The Director will also oversee donor databases, ensure compliance with fundraising regulations, and work collaboratively with the marketing and program teams to achieve fundraising goals.
