EHS – Safety Officer

We are hiring a qualified and proactive EHS – Safety Officer to oversee and implement safety protocols across our project sites. The ideal candidate should have 4–6 years of hands-on experience in construction or industrial safety and hold a Diploma in Safety from a recognized institute.

Key Responsibilities:

• Implement and monitor Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) policies and procedures at project sites.
• Conduct daily site inspections to identify unsafe acts or conditions and ensure corrective actions are taken.
• Organize and lead safety toolbox talks, induction programs, and periodic safety training sessions for site personnel.
• Maintain all statutory records including safety inspection checklists, near-miss reports, incident logs, and safety permits.
• Investigate incidents, accidents, and near misses, and generate reports with root cause analysis and preventive measures.
• Ensure proper use of PPEs (Personal Protective Equipment) and adherence to safety signage and barricading.
• Liaise with local regulatory bodies for EHS compliance and inspections.
• Promote and enforce a strong safety culture across all levels of the organization.

Candidate Requirements:

• Diploma in Industrial/Construction Safety (recognized by State/Central Board).
• 4–6 years of experience in the EHS domain within construction, fit-out, or industrial projects.
• Good knowledge of national safety codes, risk assessment practices, and emergency response protocols.
• Strong observation, reporting, and documentation skills.
• Familiarity with safety audit practices and use of safety-related tools and checklists.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills; ability to engage with workers and management alike.

Preferred Certifications:

• NEBOSH / IOSH
• First Aid & Fire Safety
• ISO 45001 Awareness
