As an Associate Data Engineer/Analyst at EY, you will leverage your expertise to create, develop, and maintain scalable big data processing pipelines in distributed computing environments. Your role will involve designing and implementing interactive Power BI reports and dashboards tailored to the specific needs of various business units. Collaborating with cross-functional teams, you will gather data requirements and design effective data solutions. Your responsibilities will also include executing data ingestion, processing, and transformation workflows to support analytical and machine learning applications. To excel in this role, you should have over 2 years of experience as a data analyst or data engineer, along with a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field. Proficiency in SQL, a solid understanding of Azure data engineering tools like Azure Data Factory, and familiarity with Python programming are essential. You should also be competent in using Azure Databricks and possess expertise in Power BI and other Power Platform tools. Knowledge of large language models and generative AI solutions will be advantageous. Furthermore, you are expected to stay updated with emerging technologies and best practices in data processing and analytics, integrating them into EY's data engineering methodologies. Your role will require expertise in data modelling, data warehousing principles, data governance best practices, and ETL processes. Strong written and verbal communication skills, including documentation, presentation, and data storytelling, are essential for effective collaboration within the team.
