Ecotoxicology (Study Personnel Trainee)

Your role as a Microbiologist will involve the following responsibilities: - Designing, planning, and executing ecotoxicology studies on aquatic and terrestrial species like fish, daphnia, earthworms, and honeybees. - Maintaining and managing laboratory stock cultures of test organisms following OECD or other guidelines. - Preparing media, reagents, and test solutions, operating laboratory instruments, and ensuring proper calibration and maintenance. - Developing and validating new study protocols and models when necessary. - Collecting, analyzing, and interpreting experimental data, preparing technical summaries, and reports in compliance with GLP and regulatory expectations. - Authoring and reviewing Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and ensuring team adherence. - Supervising and training research associates and laboratory technicians for efficient laboratory management. - Collaborating with internal IT teams to ensure secure and efficient data management and documentation aligning with organizational policies. - Maintaining technical data and records electronically as per internal systems and regulatory standards. - Delivering scientific presentations, training sessions, and demonstrations within the department. - Participating in scientific meetings, seminars, and conferences as needed. - Liaising with cross-functional teams to explain technical aspects of ecotoxicological endpoints and study results. - Contributing to departmental audits and continuous improvement initiatives.
