Ecotoxicology (Study Personnel Trainee)

Role Overview: As a Microbiologist in this role, you will be responsible for designing, planning, and executing ecotoxicology studies on aquatic and terrestrial species. Your main duties will include maintaining laboratory stock cultures, preparing test solutions, developing study protocols, and analyzing experimental data. Additionally, you will be expected to supervise and train team members, collaborate with internal teams for data management, and deliver scientific presentations within the department. Key Responsibilities: - Design, plan, and execute ecotoxicology studies on aquatic and terrestrial species. - Maintain and manage laboratory stock cultures of test organisms following relevant guidelines. - Prepare media, reagents, and test solutions, operate laboratory instruments, and ensure proper calibration and maintenance. - Develop and validate new study protocols and models as needed. - Collect, analyze, and interpret experimental data, prepare technical summaries, and reports in compliance with GLP and regulatory requirements. - Author and review Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and ensure team adherence. - Supervise and train research associates and laboratory technicians for efficient laboratory management. - Collaborate with internal IT teams to ensure data management in line with organizational policies. - Maintain technical data and records electronically following internal systems and regulatory standards. - Deliver scientific presentations, training sessions, and demonstrations within the department. - Participate in scientific meetings, seminars, and conferences as necessary. - Liaise with cross-functional teams to explain technical aspects of study results. - Contribute to departmental audits and continuous improvement initiatives.
