Job Description: Design Engineer Essential: Develop detailed designs for mechanical and plumbing equipment. Knowledge of Water heaters and their working principle. Knowledge of plumbing equipment & fittings, water tank layout & details, Pump room details, and should be able to design standard drawings on CAD. Provide schematic design as per water hygiene standards. Should be able to work on layout design of water supply systems for private and commercial entities. Must know about template design, layout setup, detailing, and annotations. Development of AutoCAD custom tools as per drawing requirements. Strong command of AutoCAD tools. Utilize the information to create drawings. Read and interpret drawings/blueprints. Ability to demonstrate accuracy in multiple tasks. Desirable: All CAD drawings should be designed as per Legionella Risk Assessment UK, Should be able to work independently on a tight schedule to meet project deadlines, Candidates can resolve design problems, Coordinate with team members and managers to understand project requirements, drawing challenges, and productivity. Time management skills. Strong Communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with senior engineers, team leaders, Stakeholders, and UK clients. Preferred candidate profile: Should be well versed with AUTO CAD programs & commands. At least 3+ years of experience in mechanical design & drafting using AutoCAD. Education: B.tech/B.E in mechanical engineering from a reputed institute. Key Skills: AutoCAD (above 2018 version), MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint tools. Other CAD software skills will give you an additional advantage.
