We’re looking for a skilled Open edX Developer who can help us build and enhance powerful online learning experiences. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience customizing, deploying, and maintaining Open edX platforms — and a basic understanding of AI integrations to make learning smarter and more engaging. Key Responsibilities Set up, configure, and maintain Open edX instances (both LMS and CMS). Customize the user interface and learning experience using Python, Django, React, and related technologies. Integrate third-party tools, payment gateways, and analytics. Implement and fine-tune AI-driven features such as chatbots, recommendation systems, or automated assessments. Work closely with the content and design teams to ensure smooth delivery and scalability. Required Skills Strong experience with Open edX , Python , Django , and React/JavaScript . Familiarity with AWS , Docker , and Linux server environments . Basic understanding of AI / ML concepts (e.g., NLP, recommendation systems, or using APIs like OpenAI). Knowledge of database systems (MySQL, MongoDB, PostgreSQL). Strong problem-solving and debugging skills. Nice to Have Experience with xBlocks, course authoring tools, or learning analytics.
