As a Server in a fine dining restaurant, your primary responsibility will be to greet guests with genuine hospitality and provide guidance throughout their dining experience. You will be expected to have a strong understanding of traditional Japanese dishes, ingredients, and preparation methods, including sushi, sashimi, kaiseki, and more, in order to present and explain menu items accurately. In addition to offering accurate recommendations on food and beverage pairings, including sake and Japanese teas, you will be required to take orders precisely and relay them efficiently to the kitchen and bar. Serving food and beverages in a timely, professional, and graceful manner is crucial, along with anticipating guests" needs and promptly responding to any requests or concerns they may have. Maintaining table settings, ensuring cleanliness and organization throughout service, and adhering to fine dining etiquette and presentation standards at all times are essential aspects of this role. Furthermore, you must ensure compliance with hygiene, health, and safety regulations while collaborating with kitchen and service teams to maintain seamless operations. To qualify for this position, you should have proven experience as a server in a fine dining or upscale restaurant environment. Familiarity with Japanese cuisine and dining customs is highly preferred. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills are essential, along with a professional appearance and demeanor. You should be able to work well under pressure and in a team environment, with the flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays. Basic knowledge of POS systems and order management will be an advantage for this role.,
