Earmould Technicians

As an Earmould Technician, you will play a crucial role in supporting the Laboratory Managers in the creation of custom ear inserts tailored for a diverse range of individuals, including musicians, sports enthusiasts, security personnel, and primarily, hearing aid users of all ages. Your responsibilities will encompass various tasks within the manufacturing process, such as mixing and pouring materials like acrylics and silicone, as well as meticulously hand-finishing the products to ensure a top-quality outcome. Whether you are a seasoned professional or a newcomer to the field, our expert team will provide comprehensive training to help you excel in this role. While prior experience as an earmould or dental technician is advantageous, it is not mandatory. Your duties will involve investigating initial impressions, creating moulds through pouring or packing the investment, grinding and polishing the moulds, monitoring and recording temperatures, trimming and preparing ear impressions, conducting quality checks on the products, maintaining cleanliness in the workplace, supporting health and safety initiatives, and replenishing material stock. To succeed in this role, you must possess a keen eye for detail to uphold product quality standards, excellent manual dexterity, a willingness to learn about new materials and manufacturing techniques, the ability to collaborate effectively within a team, strong time management skills, and good eyesight to identify shapes, trademarks, and serial numbers. While prior experience in a dental or earmould laboratory is preferred but not mandatory, this role offers an exciting opportunity to kickstart your career in this field.
