E-publishing Executive

Key Responsibilities:

• Convert and format eBooks into EPUB, MOBI, and other digital formats.
• Ensure compatibility with various eBook readers and platforms such as Kindle, Apple Books, and Google Play Books.
• Validate and troubleshoot EPUB files using industry tools such as EPUBCheck, Sigil, and Adobe InDesign.
• Perform quality assurance checks to ensure formatting consistency and accuracy.
• Optimize eBook layouts, images, and typography for different screen sizes and devices.
• Work closely with content, design, and development teams to ensure high-quality deliverables.
• Stay updated on industry standards, best practices, and new technologies in digital publishing.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Publishing, Computer Science, Graphic Design, or a related field.
• 1 to 2 years of experience in EPUB creation, conversion, and validation.
• Proficiency in tools like Adobe InDesign, Sigil, Calibre, and Kindle Previewer.
• Knowledge of HTML, CSS, and XML for eBook formatting and troubleshooting.
• Understanding of metadata standards and accessibility guidelines for digital books.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in working with fixed-layout and reflowable EPUBs.
• Familiarity with accessibility standards such as WCAG and DAISY.
• Knowledge of scripting languages like JavaScript for interactive eBooks.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹10,000.00 - ₹15,000.00 per month
