E-commerce Content Writer Location: Gurgaon Job Type: Contract 1 Year About the Role: adidas is looking for a creative and detail-oriented E-commerce Content Writer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have prior experience writing content specifically for Retail or Fashion E-commerce platforms . You will be responsible for crafting compelling product descriptions, category content, promotional copy, SEO-driven content, and other digital assets that enhance the online shopping experience and drive conversions. Key Responsibilities: Write clear, concise, and persuasive product descriptions, titles, and bullet points tailored to fashion and lifestyle e-commerce listings. Collaborate with SEO and marketing teams to produce optimized content that drives organic traffic. Create engaging content for banners, landing pages, email campaigns, and social media channels. Ensure all content aligns with adidas brand tone, style, and voice across platforms. Conduct regular competitor analysis and market research within the fashion retail segment. Audit and update existing content for accuracy, consistency, and performance. Work closely with the design, merchandising, and product teams to understand and highlight key product features and benefits. Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in English, Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or related field. 1–3 years of experience in content writing specifically within Retail or Fashion E-commerce. Excellent command of English grammar and writing styles. Experience with SEO best practices, keyword integration, and e-commerce optimization. Familiarity with CMS platforms (e.g., Shopify, WordPress, Magento) is a plus. Strong attention to detail and ability to meet tight deadlines. A good understanding of fashion, footwear, and lifestyle products is highly preferred.
