Role Description This is a full-time on-site role for a PLC Programmer located in Coimbatore. The PLC Programmer will be responsible for designing, programming, and maintaining PLC systems. Day-to-day tasks include developing and troubleshooting automation systems, performing system tests, and ensuring compliance with industry standards. Additionally, the individual will collaborate with other engineers and provide technical support to optimize production processes. Qualifications • Develop, install, and test PLC programs for automation equipment (Siemens, Fanuc, Mitsubishi, and others). • Assist with troubleshooting and resolving faults in control systems onsite for customers. • Collaborate directly with clients to gather requirements, demonstrate processes, and install solutions. • Support system commissioning, field installation, and post-installation technical assistance. • Create and maintain technical documentation for programming, testing, and commissioning. • Ensure high standards of accuracy, safety, and reliability in all deliverables. Requirements • Diploma/Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Automation, or related field; technical certifications a plus. • Experience ranging from freshers to 2 years in PLC programming or industrial automation. • Hands-on skills with one or more PLC brands including Siemens, Fanuc, Mitsubishi (experience in any similar platform is welcome). • Understanding of ladder logic, function blocks, schematic drawing, and logic diagrams. • Ability and willingness to travel for onsite work and operate flexibly according to customer demands. • Excellent communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills; self-motivated and driven to learn. • Immediate joiners preferred.
