Job Description

The primary responsibility of this role is to manage and configure Liferay 7.4 environments for production, staging, and development. You will be required to perform performance tuning at both the infrastructure and application code levels. Additionally, you will need to administer and fine-tune Tomcat, Apache, and ElasticSearch servers to ensure optimal performance and availability. Working with JGroups configuration and troubleshooting in clustered Liferay environments will also be a part of your tasks. You will perform thread dump analysis, garbage collection tuning, and system profiling to identify performance bottlenecks and improve Java thread-level performance and multithreading issues. Using monitoring tools like New Relic or similar tools to proactively track application health and system metrics will also be crucial for this role. The ideal candidate should have strong experience with Liferay 7.4 architecture and deployment. In-depth knowledge of Tomcat, Apache Server, and ElasticSearch configuration and tuning is essential. Hands-on experience with JGroups, clustering, and session replication is required. Expertise in analyzing thread dumps, heap dumps, and using profilers such as VisualVM and JProfiler is preferred. Proficiency in Java concurrency and thread management is expected, along with familiarity with New Relic or similar monitoring tools. This position requires a candidate with 12-14 years of experience in DXP Dev, with additional skills in Liferay Development.,
