The ideal candidate should understand newsroom style, SEO practices, and trending topics across global, regional, and local news. Key Responsibilities Write clear, accurate, and engaging news articles, features, and short updates for our online news portals. Research breaking stories, trending topics, and verify facts from credible sources. Rewrite global agency stories in simple, reader-friendly English. Create SEO-optimized content including headlines, subheads, summaries , and keyword-rich articles. Coordinate with editors for daily assignments and meet tight deadlines. Ensure all content maintains editorial guidelines, accuracy, neutrality, and brand tone. Stay updated with international, Middle East, India, business, tech, and lifestyle news. Assist with social media copy, push notifications, and short news snippets when required. Work with the team to plan content calendars and special features. Required Skills Excellent command of English writing and news-style storytelling. Strong understanding of digital news trends, SEO writing, and headline creation . Ability to work fast under pressure and deliver error-free copy. Good research and fact-checking skills. Understanding of AP style / newsroom writing style (preferred). Basic knowledge of CMS publishing (WordPress or similar). Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Journalism, Mass Communication, English, or related field. 2–3 years of experience in writing for news websites, newspapers, or digital media.
