Job Description

provides acute patient care, manages hospital wards, handles emergencies, supervises junior staff, ensures documentation, and acts as a bridge between patients, families, nurses, and senior consultants, focusing on smooth daily operations and continuous patient well-being, especially during shifts

Patient Care:
Conduct rounds, assess patients, diagnose, provide immediate treatment, manage emergencies, and coordinate with specialists.
Supervision & Coordination:
Oversee nursing staff and junior doctors, ensuring smooth functioning of wards, OT, and OPD; manage shift handovers.
Documentation:
Prepare discharge summaries, certificates (like death reports), and maintain accurate, signed medical records.
Emergency Response:
Act as the first responder to critical situations and provide advanced life support.
Liaison & Communication:
Counsel patients/families, communicate with consultants, and escalate critical cases.
Hospital Operations:
Ensure compliance with hospital policies, manage equipment/medicines, and handle administrative tasks like reports.

Essential Skills & Qualifications

Education:
MBBS degree with relevant experience/internship.
Clinical Skills:
Strong diagnostic, treatment, and emergency management skills.
Soft Skills:
Excellent decision-making, problem-solving, communication, and empathy.
Flexibility:
Ability to work rotating shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
