Job Title: MBBS Duty Doctor – OG Department
Location: Kamatchi Hospital, Kumbakonam, Tamil Nadu
Department: Obstetrics & Gynecology
Job Type: Full-time | Rotational Shifts (Day/Night)
Reporting To: Medical Superintendent

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in labor room duties including normal deliveries, fetal monitoring, and emergency support
• Conduct initial patient assessment, take detailed history, and initiate basic investigations
• Manage OPD flow: record vitals, document findings, and provide patient education
• Provide first aid and stabilize emergency patients before consultant intervention
• Support OT preparation and post-operative monitoring
• Maintain clear and complete case documentation and medical records
• Ensure adherence to hospital protocols, infection control, and patient safety measures

Qualifications:

Education: MBBS from a recognized medical university

Experience: 0–3 years (Freshers welcome; preference for candidates with OG posting or internship experience)
