Key Responsibilities : Desktop Publishing : Use software such as Adobe InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop to create layouts for print and digital materials. Design and format text, images, and graphics in an aesthetically pleasing and functional manner. Ensure correct alignment, spacing, and typography for a professional output. Pre-Press Preparation : Prepare and proofread documents before sending them for printing. Verify file formats, resolution, and color accuracy for optimal printing results. Convert files into the required formats for print, web, or email campaigns. Client Interaction : Liaise with clients or internal teams to gather requirements and understand project objectives. Present design drafts and incorporate feedback into the final product. Quality Control : Review documents for errors in text, graphics, and design. Ensure that layouts are consistent with brand standards and guidelines. File Management : Maintain a well-organized system for project files and assets. Ensure that final files are archived properly for future use or revisions. Project Coordination : Manage multiple projects simultaneously, adhering to deadlines and project timelines. Communicate effectively with team members and other departments to ensure smooth workflow. Required Skills and Qualifications : Proficiency in desktop publishing software such as Adobe InDesign , Illustrator , and Photoshop . Strong understanding of design principles, typography, and color theory. Experience with print production processes, file preparation, and pre-press procedures. Excellent attention to detail and ability to work under tight deadlines. Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team. Preferred Qualifications : Previous experience in a graphic design or publishing role. Knowledge of HTML/CSS for basic web design (if applicable). Familiarity with other design tools (e.g., CorelDRAW, QuarkXPress). Education : Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design , Multimedia Arts , Printing Technology , or a related field (preferred but not always required). Experience : Minimum of 1-3 years of experience as a DTP Operator, Graphic Designer, or in a similar role.
