Role Description The Associate/Analyst in the Capital Solutions Group supports the structuring and execution of tailored financing solutions for corporate and institutional clients. Based in Hong Kong, the role involves close collaboration with senior bankers, product specialists, and external stakeholders to deliver innovative capital markets strategies that meet client objectives. This position requires advanced analytical skills, strong financial modeling capabilities, and the ability to perform under tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities Support origination and execution of complex financing transactions, including debt, equity-linked, and structured solutions. Develop detailed financial models, valuation analyses, and scenario planning to assess transaction feasibility. Conduct market and industry research to identify financing trends, opportunities, and risks. Prepare pitch books, presentations, and internal approval documents. Assist with due diligence, documentation, and coordination across legal, compliance, and risk functions. Collaborate with cross-functional teams such as debt capital markets, equity capital markets, and leveraged finance. Monitor deal performance and provide post-transaction analysis. Maintain updated knowledge of financial instruments and regulatory frameworks across the Asia-Pacific region. Support relationship management efforts with corporate clients and institutional investors. Contribute to the development of innovative financing strategies and best practices within the team. Qualifications Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or related fields. 1–4 years of experience in investment banking, capital markets, or corporate finance (Analyst/Associate level). Strong technical skills in financial modeling, valuation, and capital structure analysis. Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and financial databases such as Bloomberg and Refinitiv. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and quantitative abilities. Strong written and verbal communication skills, with attention to detail. Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities in fast-paced environments. Collaborative mindset with strong interpersonal skills. Familiarity with Hong Kong and Asia-Pacific capital markets highly desirable. Professional certifications such as CFA or progress toward them is a plus.
