Job Description The candidate will be responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining quality systems, standards, and procedures across the infrastructure manufacturing unit. The role involves ensuring compliance with statutory and industry requirements, driving continuous improvement, and fostering a culture of quality excellence across operations. Company Name: D.S. Ductofab Systems Pvt. Ltd. (Infra Div.), Position Title: Sr. Manager – Q.A & Q.C Department: Quality , Job Location: Tilda Industrial Area, Raipur, Chhattisgarh. Reports To: Operations Head Required Qualification: B.E./ B. Tech in Mech. / Civil / Industrial Engg. / equivalent. Required Experience: 8–10 years of experience in Q.A & Q.C , Preferred Industry: Precast Structures / Steel fabrication / Infrastructure components (bridges, gliders, slabs, pipes etc) / Construction material manufacturing, Salary Budget: 80 k to 90 k per month Required by Date - At the earliest. Roles & Responsibilities : - Ø Quality Management Systems (QMS): § Develop, implement and monitor quality management systems in alignment with ISO / relevant standards. § Ensure compliance with company policies, statutory norms, and customer requirements. § Regularly review and update SOPs, quality manuals, and inspection processes. Ø Process & Product Quality Control: § Establish quality checkpoints and conduct in-process/finished product inspections. § Monitor raw materials, WIP, and final output to ensure adherence to specifications. § Lead Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and Corrective & Preventive Action (CAPA) for deviations. Ø Compliance & Certification: § Ensure adherence to BIS, ISO, and other regulatory/industry certifications. § Manage audits by external agencies and clients, ensuring timely closure of observations. Ø Continuous Improvement: § Drive Six Sigma, Lean, and Kaizen initiatives for process efficiency. § Analyze quality trends, identify gaps, and implement improvement measures. § Develop quality KPIs and ensure achievement of targets. Ø Team Management & Training: § Lead and mentor QA/QC team members for enhanced technical skills and accountability. § Conduct training programs on quality awareness, inspection techniques, and standards. Ø Customer & Stakeholder Management: § Handle customer complaints, conduct failure analysis, and ensure corrective measures. § Coordinate with cross-functional teams (Production, Design, Procurement, Projects) for quality assurance. Required Skills & Competencies: § Strong knowledge of quality management systems (ISO 9001, ISO 14001, OHSAS, etc.). § Experience in quality assurance within infrastructure / heavy engineering / manufacturing sector. § Proficiency in quality tools: FMEA, SPC, MSA, 8D, RCA, CAPA. § Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and decision-making abilities. § Leadership skills to manage teams and drive a quality culture. § Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
