Position Overview A Site Engineer is responsible for overseeing construction activities on-site, ensuring that projects are completed safely, on time, within budget, and according to quality standards. The role involves coordinating between project managers, contractors, suppliers, and workers to ensure smooth execution of construction works. Key Responsibilities Supervise day-to-day construction activities and ensure compliance with project specifications. Monitor progress and report updates to project managers and stakeholders. Ensure that all work is carried out in accordance with health, safety, and environmental regulations. Interpret and implement technical drawings, plans, and specifications. Manage site resources including manpower, materials, and equipment. Conduct site inspections to maintain quality standards. Resolve technical issues and provide solutions during construction. Coordinate with subcontractors, consultants, and suppliers. Prepare site reports, documentation, and project records. Support project planning, scheduling, and cost control. Qualifications & Skills Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Engineering, or related field. Proven experience as a site engineer or in a similar construction role. Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and legal regulations. Proficiency in project management software and MS Office. Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills. Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks effectively. Attention to detail and commitment to quality and safety standards. Work Environment Based on-site at construction projects. Requires flexibility to work extended hours, weekends, or travel to multiple sites.
