1. Job Summary The Experienced Staff Nurse/Midwife in the Labour Ward is responsible for providing high-quality, compassionate, and evidence-based care to women during labour, delivery, and the immediate postnatal period. The role involves continuous assessment, timely interventions, emergency management, documentation, and collaboration with the multidisciplinary team to ensure safe maternal and neonatal outcomes. 2. Key Responsibilities Clinical Care Provide continuous monitoring, assessment, and support to women in labour. Conduct normal deliveries independently while ensuring adherence to clinical protocols. Maintain clear and empathetic communication throughout all stages of care. Provide breastfeeding support in the immediate postnatal period. Qualifications & Experience Registered Nurse / Registered Midwife with valid professional license. Minimum 2–3 years of experience in Labour Ward / Maternity / Obstetrics. Certification in BLS , NRP , and preferably ACLS or Midwifery Emergency Skills . Strong clinical assessment and emergency management skills.
