Driver Cum Store Assistant

1. Driving Responsibilities: Safely operate company vehicle(s) for transporting goods, equipment, or personnel. Ensure timely pickup and delivery of materials to/from vendors, sites, and clients. Adhere to traffic laws, route plans, and company transport policies. Maintain a clean and roadworthy vehicle; perform basic vehicle checks (fuel, oil, tire pressure, etc.). Maintain accurate travel logs, delivery notes, and trip sheets. 2. Store Assistant Responsibilities: Receive, inspect, and store incoming materials and supplies. Issue materials based on requisition slips or instructions. Maintain accurate inventory records (manual or using ERP/Excel systems). Conduct regular stock checks and report discrepancies. Assist in organizing and maintaining the cleanliness of the store/warehouse area. 3. Documentation & Reporting: Update daily records of received and dispatched materials. Prepare delivery challans, gate passes, or goods return notes when required. Report damaged or missing items immediately to the store in-charge or supervisor. 4. Coordination & Communication: Coordinate with purchase, admin, and site teams for material movements. Communicate with suppliers and vendors during pickups or deliveries. Support internal teams during audits, inspections, or stock verification. 5. General Support Duties: Assist in loading and unloading goods. Ensure goods are packed and transported securely to avoid damage. Support any other departmental work as assigned by management. Required Skills and Attributes: Valid driver’s license (appropriate class as per vehicle type). Basic understanding of inventory and storekeeping. Physically fit and able to lift/move goods. Honest, punctual, and responsible. Basic communication skills in local language (English/Hindi/Malayalam as applicable).
