Role Overview: The technician will be responsible for performing on-site operations and maintenance (O&M) activities for solar photovoltaic (PV) systems. This includes routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and supporting the technical team in ensuring uninterrupted plant performance. The role involves fieldwork, hands-on tasks, and coordination with clients and the internal operations team. Key Responsibilities: Perform daily, weekly, and monthly maintenance activities for rooftop and ground-mounted solar plants. Diagnose and troubleshoot issues in inverters, modules, combiner boxes, and other system components. Support the service engineer during corrective maintenance and shutdown cases. Ensure that all maintenance work is carried out as per standard operating procedures (SOPs). Maintain accurate logs of service, faults, generation, and performance. Coordinate with the central team for material, reporting, and spares replacement. Follow all safety guidelines and site protocols strictly.
Roles & Responsibilities *Make outbound calls to new potential clients to generate inquiries for solar cleaning, operation & maintenance (O&M), and service projects. *Explain DrEtech’s services clearly and convert inquiries into site visits or meetings for the technical/operations team. *Follow up with existing customers regarding solar project service status, cleaning schedules, and O&M updates. *Explain company services, generate interest, and support the sales/O&M team. *Maintain call logs, customer data, and follow-up records in CRM/Excel sheets. *Handle inbound calls, address basic queries, and route calls to the concerned department. *Coordinate with field technicians for site updates and daily task allocation. *Ensure timely communication and maintain professional behavior with customers. *Prepare service reports, daily MIS, attendance sheets, and data entry tasks. *Maintain documentation for solar cleaning, O&M activities, and client records. *Handle emails, scheduling, and administrative tasks. Required Skills *Required SkillsExcellent communication skills in Hindi & Gujarati (English added advantage). *Good telephone etiquette and customer-handling skills. *Ability to multitask and maintain accurate records. *Basic MS Office / Excel knowledge.
