Job Title: Technical Assistant Imaging and Camera Calibration Role Overview: We are seeking a hands-on Technical Assistant to support our machine vision and 360 sensing product lines. The role involves executing established camera calibration pipelines, capturing and processing datasets, and assisting in ground truth data collection for model training. You will also support practical field experiments to test camera performance, and maintain accurate records for datasets and project activities. Key Responsibilities: Operate and execute camera calibration processes for depth cameras. Capture and process datasets as per defined protocols. Conduct ground truth data collection activities. Assist in running field tests and experiments. Maintain organized logs, records, and basic bookkeeping of datasets and related activities. Follow provided scripts/frameworks to run tasks without modification to core code. Requirements: Basic technical aptitude and familiarity with using computers for data operations. Ability to follow technical instructions and processes with high attention to detail. Comfortable handling hardware setups and running command-line scripts. Organized, methodical, and dependable in executing repeatable processes. Preferred Skills: Experience with Linux shell scripting (bash, simple automation). Comfort with handling cameras, tripods, and optical setups. Exposure to PCB-level camera modules (MIPI/board-level cameras). General technical aptitude for troubleshooting camera hardware/software setups.
