Draftsman (Interior Design)

You will be responsible for creating detailed technical drawings and plans for interior design projects using AutoCAD. Your role will involve collaborating with interior designers and architects to develop design concepts. It will be crucial to ensure that all drawings are accurate and compliant with industry standards and regulations. You will need to revise and update drawings based on feedback from the design team and clients. Managing and organizing drawing files and project plans will also be part of your duties. Additionally, assisting in the preparation of design presentations and project plans will be expected. To be successful in this role, you should have a Bachelor's degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field. A minimum of 3-5 years of experience working on medium and large-scale residential and hospitality projects is preferred. Proven experience as an AutoCAD draftsman or in a similar role is essential. Strong knowledge of working with AutoCAD software and technical drawing standards is required. Attention to detail and accuracy in drawing reproduction are crucial. A good understanding of interior design principles and construction techniques is necessary. You should also be able to work collaboratively with a design team and meet project deadlines. Experience with SketchUp will be an added advantage.,
