DRAFTMAN ASSISTANCE

Job Description: As a Draftsman Assistant specializing in As-Built Drawings, you will play a crucial role in supporting ongoing and completed projects by accurately documenting on-site changes and updating construction drawings to reflect the final built condition. Key Responsibilities: - Assist in preparing as-built drawings by incorporating site-marked plans, redlines, and actual measurements. - Verify and record on-site conditions, dimensions, and modifications by visiting project sites if necessary. - Update AutoCAD drawings to accurately reflect field changes and ensure drawing precision. - Collaborate with project engineers, site supervisors, and senior draftsmen to gather essential inputs. - Ensure all as-built drawings adhere to company drafting standards and client specifications. - Maintain proper documentation, file naming conventions, and drawing version control. - Assist in compiling and submitting final drawing sets and handover documents to clients or authorities. Qualifications Required: - Diploma / ITI in Draftsmanship, Civil, Architecture, or a related field. - 0-2 years of CAD drafting experience, with a preference for experience in as-built work. - Proficiency in AutoCAD and a solid understanding of construction drawings. - Basic knowledge of architectural, civil, or MEP layout plans. - Capability to interpret and implement site changes into existing designs accurately. - Strong attention to detail, effective time management, and excellent communication skills.
