Responsibilities: Prepare treatment rooms for patients and set up instruments and materials. Assist the dentist during a variety of dental procedures (e.g., fillings, extractions, root canals, cleanings) by handing instruments, suctioning, and retracting. Anticipate the dentist's needs during procedures to ensure efficiency. Sterilization and Infection Control: Strictly adhere to all sterilization and infection control protocols. Clean, sterilize, and prepare dental instruments and equipment. Maintain the cleanliness and organization of treatment rooms and common areas. Patient Care: Welcome and seat patients comfortably. Provide pre- and post-operative instructions to patients as directed by the dentist. Ensure patient comfort throughout their visit. Administrative Support (as needed): Prepare patient charts and update medical histories. Assist with scheduling appointments and managing patient flow. Stock Management: Monitor and manage dental supplies and inventory. Assist with ordering new supplies as needed. Equipment Maintenance: Perform basic maintenance and upkeep of dental equipment. Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent. 10th, 12th fail also acceptable. Basic knowledge of dental terminology, instruments, and procedures is a plus. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. Compassionate and empathetic approach to patient care.
