Job Summary: The Multi-Tasking Staff (MTS) provides essential support services to ensure the smooth day-to-day functioning of the school. The role involves performing various tasks including cleaning, maintenance assistance, office errands, and basic logistical support. Key Responsibilities:General Duties: Maintain cleanliness of classrooms, offices, corridors, washrooms, and school premises. Assist in the arrangement of furniture for events, meetings, or classrooms. Carry and deliver documents, files, and materials within school departments. Support the administrative and teaching staff with minor errands. Maintenance & Upkeep: Report any maintenance issues to the Admin Office or Estate Manager. Assist maintenance staff in minor repair work when required. Support to Staff and Students: Help in setting up classrooms or activity areas as per teacher instructions. Provide assistance to students in moving between classrooms or during school events. Gardening & Outdoor Duties: Assist in maintaining the school garden and outdoor premises (if applicable). Ensure outdoor areas such as playgrounds are clean and safe. Safety & Security Support: Monitor entry points when required and assist in managing visitor movement under supervision. Follow safety protocols during school activities. Other Duties: Handle basic pantry duties like serving water, tea, etc., for staff or during meetings. Perform any other task assigned by the Admin Officer, Estate Manager, or Principal. Required Skills & Qualifications: Minimum qualification: 10th pass (or as per school norms). Previous experience in a similar role is preferred but not mandatory. Physically fit and capable of performing manual tasks. Ability to follow instructions and work responsibly. Key Responsibilities: Assist in cataloguing, classifying, and maintaining books, periodicals, and other learning resources. Issue, return, and renew library materials following library policies. Help students and staff locate books, reference material, and digital resources. Maintain an organized and welcoming environment in the library. Support the Librarian in conducting library activities, exhibitions, and reading programs. Assist in updating library records, registers, and digital databases. Ensure proper care, shelving, and safe handling of books and resources. Help in maintaining discipline and a quiet study atmosphere in the library. Support in compiling reports on library usage and inventory. Skills & Competencies: Basic knowledge of library management systems (training will be provided).
