As a highly skilled Software Developer, you will have the opportunity to work on a variety of projects within our team. Your responsibilities will include designing, developing, and maintaining web applications and APIs using .NET Core Web API. You will also work with legacy technologies such as VB 6.0 and Classic ASP to enhance and support existing systems, as well as develop and optimize database structures using Microsoft SQL Server. In this role, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to define requirements and ensure high-quality software delivery. Your tasks will involve writing and maintaining frontend code with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript for modern, responsive web applications. Additionally, you will utilize QuickBooks and Crystal Reports for reporting and data visualization purposes. Your key responsibilities will encompass troubleshooting and resolving application and performance issues, as well as ensuring application scalability, security, and best practices are followed throughout development. Furthermore, you will provide mentorship and guidance to junior developers to support their growth and development. The ideal candidate for this position should have strong experience in VB 6.0 and Classic ASP for maintaining and supporting legacy applications, as well as proficiency in .NET Core Web API development and C#. You should possess a solid understanding and hands-on experience with Microsoft SQL Server, including writing complex queries and optimizing performance. Experience working with JSON for APIs and data integration, along with front-end development skills using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, are essential requirements. To excel in this role, you should also have experience using QuickBooks for reporting purposes and familiarity with Crystal Reports in a .NET environment (VB 6.0). Strong problem-solving and debugging skills, the ability to work in both a legacy and modern tech environment, as well as excellent communication and teamwork skills are crucial for success. Ideally, you should hold a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
