As a Senior Developer in the Solution Delivery pillar at EY's GDS Tax Technology team, you will play a crucial role in developing and testing solutions to support the GDS Tax Practice. Your responsibilities will include: - Designing and developing solutions as per the direction of Solution Development pioneers. - Estimating technical effort, work breakdown structure, risks, and solutions at a solution level. - Monitoring adherence to methodologies, tools, and KPIs. - Managing stakeholders effectively. - Maintaining clear and consistent communication within the team and with peers and stakeholders. - Providing input to application development/engineering methodologies, standards, and leading practices. - Anticipating and resolving problems efficiently by proposing appropriate solutions. - Proactively identifying issues, presenting solutions, and leading to resolution when necessary. Skills And Attributes For Success: - Full Stack Web Developer with expertise in .Net, .Net Core, MVC, Single-page application, Design Pattern, Typescript (Angular or Vue), Web API, Entity Framework / ADO.Net. - Proficiency in SQL commands, Stored Procedures, and DB performance tuning. - Exposure to 3rd party controls like Telerik or Kendo UI. - Familiarity with Development Methodologies like Agile. - Experience with Version Control Using GIT/ TFVC, CICD, Microservices, and Azure Cloud platform is advantageous. - Strong technical skills in designing, developing, and implementing applications through logical life cycles. - Good communication skills and a keen awareness of new technologies. - Ability to work independently with limited direction. - Providing supervision and guidance to team members and staff. Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related discipline or equivalent work experience. - Master's degree is preferred. - 4-8 years of relevant experience, with management experience being a plus. Ideally, you should also have: - Thorough knowledge of Tax or Finance Domain. - Strong analytical skills and attention to detail. - Ability to adapt your work style to collaborate with internal and client team members.
