Job description Senior Instructional Designer (Contract US Shift) Location: Hyderabad / Onsite Experience: 6+ years Engagement: Contract (612 months, extendable) Shift: Late Evening / US Hours Joining: Immediate or within 2 weeks About the Role Were hiring a Senior Instructional Designer for our Learning & Organizational Development (L&OD) team. This is a client-facing role where you’ll collaborate directly with US-based stakeholders , designing engaging, scalable learning experiences that drive measurable business impact. If you’re a strategic thinker, creative problem solver, and passionate about adult learning, this role is for you. Key Responsibilities Learning Design & Development Design and develop learning content in multiple formats: eLearning, VILT, ILT, microlearning, videos, and job aids . Apply instructional design models (ADDIE, SAM, etc.) to build engaging, learner-focused experiences. Create design documents, storyboards, and prototypes with strong attention to detail. Stakeholder Collaboration Partner with business leaders and SMEs to assess learning needs and define learning objectives. Translate business requirements into impactful learning strategies aligned with talent development goals. Project Management Manage end-to-end learning projects — from scoping to deployment. Oversee timelines, QA, documentation, and client communications. Evaluation & Optimization Implement evaluation methods (Kirkpatrick / ROI) to measure learning effectiveness. Analyze feedback to continuously enhance learning outcomes. Required Skills & Experience Minimum 6 years of experience in instructional design or corporate L&D. Hands-on expertise with Articulate Storyline, Rise, Vyond, Camtasia , or similar tools. Strong grasp of learning theories, adult learning principles, and visual storytelling . Excellent verbal and written communication skills — ability to interact with US-based clients confidently. Proven project management and cross-functional collaboration abilities.
